Skill Drill Training Activities
Sherwin-Williams store employees felt there was a crucial piece missing from their training: they didn’t have the opportunity to practice new sales and service strategies before working with customers. People learn best by doing, so to give Sherwin-Williams store employees the opportunity to practice customer service and selling skills, the GO2 team developed the Skill Drill.
Working with a Creative Director, I created the design for Skill Drill, a quick 20 – 30 minute training activity that managers can run with their team. The Skill Drill kit received by each store included instructions for managers to help guide the activity, a workbook to review key learnings and role play cards to put those learnings into action.
These kits were well-received by Sherwin-Williams stores across the country. Store managers appreciated the kit’s ease of use and sales associates liked that the role play cards offered realistic scenarios. GO2 Partners continues to produce Skill Drills for this successful program.
